The festival will run from Aug. 15th – 26th, 2012. Free admission, free parking and free shuttle service. This annual event features live Greek music and traditional Greek dances, excellent Greek cuisine, cooking demonstrations, Greek language lessons, Greek traditional dance lessons, craft and cultural exhibits, souvenirs, raffle, children’s activities, Church tours and ecclesiastical displays.

The Lumière Festival, presented each year by the CCCC , is a month of preparations for the magical Evening of Light Celebration which will be held on August 18.

Through lantern-making and performance workshops, and community outreach initiatives Lumière encourages people to come together and share their own creations and view the creations of others in a celebration of light and community.
The Lumière Evening of Light Celebration will enthrall you whether on your own, with friends or with family; a teen or a senior.

From the lanterns on display, to the labyrinth, to the performers and music-all illuminated by only lantern and lamplight, Lumière will hold you in its spell. Come re-discover the night and the magic of light!

Ottawa?s most colourful festival happens every year in August. The ten day festival has many events to celebrate and honour those who are LGBTTQA . Some events are as follows: Mr. and Miss Capital Pride Pageant, Health and Fitness Day, Picnic in the Park, Rainbow Party, and the Capital Pride Parade. During Ottawa?s most colourful festival, you will see the pride flag flying at City Hall, City of Ottawa Paramedic Headquarters, and City of Ottawa Police Headquarters.
